I know the before and after are not way different since with the bins it is already pretty much organized. But we had all just been shoving stuff in there without any real order and it was getting hard to find things and dangerous to remove things without a can of beans landing on your toes.

It always takes a bigger mess to truly clean a mess. I should have included the pics of me taking much of the stuff out and filling my island with it. I checked for expiration dates on everything. I tossed many stale bags of crackers and chips. Our fam has a problem with munchies for sure. I vacuumed all the dog hair that had collected on the floor. I wiped the visible parts of the shelves and the bins with a magic eraser.
